Ordinary People

The Scripture I read this morning was John 1: 19-29 and I got to thinking about what John did and how we can relate to that, how we can do a little John ourselves.

We are told to witness to others about Jesus, tell them about the light, tell them the only way to heaven is through Christ as He is the Son of God. Like John, who claimed he wasn't Elijah or a Prophet or Christ, we aren't either and we can't come across like them. We are just ordinary people God chose to spread the Word.
